As far as our factory is concerned, our top management reduce the worker and dismiss some office management position. Even for the production workers and QC workers are in the dismiss name lists. In some extent, it sounds cruel by doing this, but to put us in the boss’s shoe, we can fully understand it is not easy to operate a company and they are under great pressure. As office clerk, we just have to responsible for our job task only and get the corresponding salary from the company we are working for. Maybe we do not have strong feeling that the more pressure for our boss than us.
We should be careful when you are negotiate new orders with your clients. If we are not take an alert, we should have to lose some money and have to buy their lessons. When a new clients decide to place an order with you, be careful for the blow mentioned situation.
1) Big order quantity and with less deposit
At the first, when you negotiate with the client, it seems that they do not have high standard with your product. They place larger order quantity with you, but refuse to transfer too much deposit money before the mass production. You thought that it was a big order and arrange production without hesitation, after you finished them. They are very picky after the pre-shipment inspection. And they pointed out that this or that quality problems that cannot accept. And even worst, if you do not reduce the price, they will reject the whole lot of goods. For all clients, after we deal with the official order, we should send our specific quality standard to our clients for reference. To make sure that every aspects for our existing product is meet with client’s requirements.
2) Set too high quality standard and too low prices
This type of customers always set extremely high quality standard for their supplier. They will compare the price to a lot of factories. Maybe they have found some supplier first, but cannot their requirements. The next one they have found is you, they ask for free of charge samples, and bring forward some unreasonable requests, if you are facing this kind of clients, be more careful. They want every products to be perfect and no supplier can actually satisfy them.
3) The delivery date and quality standard is unclear
Your clients place an order with you, but when you finished the mass production and request them to pick cargoes up from your factory. But even your client is not clear about the specific delivery date, it is a ridiculous thing. If the cargoes stays in your warehouse for a long time, I am afraid it will bring some storage charge which your factory should have to take responsible for it.
4) The lead time is very urgent
This kind of clients are usually cooperate with the same industrial factory like you do, and they are not satisfy with them, especially for the quality control. Therefore, they discontinue to cooperate with them. But they have to finish the order for their clients, they have to find the next supplier to meet with their demands. Once you have some quality issue, they would request you to make some discounts, otherwise they will cancel the order.
5) Reluctant to make the deposit money
When you ask them to pay the deposit money, they do not get money available at hand. They would said that they will pay money when they got payment from their clients. Oh my god, the business is between you and me, why I should know your relationship with your clients? If you do not get enough money for business, what is the point of negotiating business? It is meaningless thing indeed and waste a lot of time.
6) Lots of middle man
The direct result of too many middle man is to lead to high product cost for the end users. Yes, the middle man have to share a part of profit from the orders. For this kind of order, they usually set too high quality for manufactures once happen some problems, the manufactures may loss some money.
